1. Who we are

AI StoryFlow Studio ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered video creation platform available at aistoryflowstudio.com. We help creators write scripts, generate narration, produce scenes, translate videos, and publish content to social platforms.

2. Information we collect

Account information: email address or phone number and a hashed password when you register.
Content you create: scripts, prompts, audio uploads, generated videos, captions, and show settings stored under your account.
Usage data: task logs, credit usage, and timestamps for billing and service improvement.
YouTube account data (if you connect YouTube): channel name, channel ID, and upload permissions granted via OAuth. We use this solely to upload or schedule videos on your behalf when you initiate a publish action. We do not read your private videos, subscriptions, or any data beyond what is required to complete the action you request.
Cookies and tokens: a session token stored in your browser to keep you logged in.

3. How we use your information

To operate and deliver the service (video generation, translation, publishing).
To authenticate your account and protect against unauthorized access.
To process payments and track credit usage.
To upload videos to YouTube or other platforms when you explicitly request it.
To send transactional communications (password reset, billing receipts) — we do not send marketing email without your consent.

4. YouTube API data

AI StoryFlow Studio uses the YouTube API to upload videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use of YouTube API data complies with the YouTube API Services User Data Policy, including the Google Privacy Policy.

We only access the YouTube scopes you grant during the OAuth authorization flow: youtube.upload to publish videos you ask us to publish, and youtube.readonly to read your channel name so we can show you which channel a video will go to.
We store the OAuth tokens YouTube issues us (an access token and a refresh token) for as long as your YouTube account stays connected. We need them to publish on your behalf later — including videos you schedule to post at a future time — without asking you to sign in again. They are stored on our servers, are never shown to other users, and are used only to carry out publishing actions you initiated.
We delete those tokens immediately when you disconnect YouTube in Publishing › Connected Accounts, or when you delete your account.
We do not read your private videos, subscriptions, comments, or analytics, and we do not share your YouTube data with third parties.
You can revoke our access at any time from Google security settings (also reachable at Google Account Permissions). Revoking there stops all future publishing immediately.
To delete any YouTube-related data we hold, email support@aistoryflowstudio.com or disconnect YouTube from your account settings.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

AI providers (e.g. script generation, voice synthesis) — only the content needed to complete the task you initiated.
Cloud hosting provider — for hosting, storage, and compute.
Payment processor — for billing; we never see your card number.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and generated content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting support@aistoryflowstudio.com. YouTube OAuth tokens are revoked and deleted when you disconnect your YouTube account.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you are in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR including the right to erasure and data portability.

9. Children

This service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when material changes are made. We will notify you via email or in-app notice before changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
